Java, Juice & Jazz is a multicultural community organization that is centrally located on Elvis Presley Avenue; in the heart of the urban community in Memphis, TN.

Java, Juice & Jazz as it was originally named was founded in 1999 by Ms. Toni and her two daughters Karen and Crystal. Ms. Toni is an elder who is conscious and determined to make a difference, one person at a time.

Java, Juice & Jazz was renamed "The Java Complex" after the Java vegetarian restaurant was closed 2 years ago. The Java Complex is the urban centerpiece that consistently offers a variety of community, visual, educational and performing arts programs.

We embrace the mission to mobilize our community and to re-acquaint ourselves and our children with our true heritage. We make every effort to improve upon our self-esteem, self-worth, and to create opportunities and experiences that enrich our overall cultural development and expression.

In addition to our literary offerings, we carry a wide variety of authentic hand crafted cultural jewelry, African clothing, cultural paintings, African-American collectibles, and much more.
